We’ve spent 4 days in London last week, me + Zoe and Diego, for a live painting performance for The Whitecross street party, read this post to discover the festival and the next post for a peculiar London guide.

Ci siamo goduti Londra così… un po’ per lavoro e un po’ per relax, senza una goccia di pioggia e ne è nata una mini vacanza bellissima ed una piccola guida, per visitare la città con un respiro più “londoner”, che vi svelerò nel prossimo post…

Day 1 – Whitecross street party 2016

Whitecross Street is a short street in Islington, there are more londoners then tourists, it features an eponymous street market like Whitecross street market and a large housing estate. 

Since 2010, there has been an annual Whitecross Street Party,

you can enjoy performances local street artists, live music , market , food and every bars, pubs and restaurants of street introduce something special for the festival, one of these business is my husband’s brother Dario and his patners, Roberto, Carlo and Marilena, Jane Roe Kitchen selected Greta Pigatto couture for an exclusive live painting exbition and I’ve the chance to paint with a very special little partner  ♥ under the London sky.

White Cross street è una via centralissima nella zona di Islington, frequentata dai londinesi e poco turistica, è una zona tutta da scoprire, la manifestazione è organizzata da 5 anni da un’associazione del posto, una giornata di performance di street artist locali, musica dal vivo, markets, food e tutti i locali della via propongono qualcosa di speciale per l’occasione. Uno di queste attività è il locale del fratello di mio marito, Dario e dei suioi tre soci, Roberto, Marilena e Carlo, Jane Roe Kitchen ha scelto Greta Pigatto couture, ho dipinto “en plain air”, con una collaboratrice molto speciale… ♥︎

Zoe supports me through all my projects , and if I can involve her , even better … it makes me realize that be a creative mother who follows her soul and swing, makes Zoe a better person , not It will never be a deprivation but enrichment in the future and encourage her to become an inspiring woman , with no regrets .

Zoe mi supporta e “sopporta” in ogni mio progetto e se riesco a coinvolgerla, ancora meglio… questo mi fa capire che avere una mamma creativa è sì un po’ complicato, ma non sarà mai una privazione ma un arricchimento e la stimolerà in futuro ad inseguire i suoi sogni.

Representing an idea creates connection with everyone and you don’t need words , this is the real purpose of my work , the real reason that pushed me to choose such a difficult job like an independent designer, but it’s so exciting being a mom and a crafter.

Rappresentare un tuo pensiero, trasmettendolo a tutti, ti mette in connessione senza bisogno di parole, eliminando qualsiasi barriera anche linguistica… emozionare emozionandoti, questo è il vero scopo del mio lavoro, il vero motivo che mi ha spinto a scegliere un lavoro così difficile, ma altrettanto emozionante, essere una mamma-crafter, una designer indipendente.
